Speelt echt te gek, prachtige sustain en sound. Zeldzaam mooie Strat!

The Cunetto's marked the beginning of the Relic era. They have the engraved Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock and are by far the best playing, most desirable and highly collectible Relics to ever come out of the Custom Shop. The first Cunetto Relics were built in 1995 when John Cruz was doing the building, John Page was the manager and Vince Cunetto was doing the Relic work. This is such an early Cruz/Cunetto. The serial number is R0465. Comes with the original center pocket tweed hardshell case.

As you know the Mary Kaye Cunetto Stratocaster is one of the most sought after Strats as it not only sounds, plays and feels like e real Pre-CBS Strat, it also is one of the best collector investments out there!! I own several sixties Strats and I can tell you this one really stands out! It sounds amazing, in particular it has a really distinctive sound on open chords. When played acoustic all the notes really ring belltone!

This is the chance of a lifetime to get the guitar of your dreams. The Premium Ash body has a magic feel to it and the neck… Wow… This Quarter Sawn Maple Neck has an absolutely stunning flame. She plays like a dream and sounds like magic. It just doesn't get any better. Equipped with 3 Custom Original spec staggered pole ´50s single coil pickups, plus an ultra thin Nitro finish, this guitar has more resonance than any. Tone and sustain are amazing! The neck is fat, straight and the action is light. She'll really nail those Blues licks, very clean, and with the Maple board you can reach greater distortion with incredible sustain. Great harmonics and overtones, powerful and punchy. This guitar has the high end fidelity to really scream, bite, soar and articulate, but not at the expense of clarity. Comes with the original center pocket Fender Tweed Case OSHC.

The First Lady of Rock and America's sweetheart, Mary Kaye was hot property back in 1956. The Rock-N-Roll explosion had just happened and the band won many admirers, among them Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis Jr. During the '50's and '60's, Mary and her band became a regular act on the Las Vegas strip. She was inducted into the Casino Legends Hall Of Fame in 1999 and considered to be one of the all time top 10 best female guitarists that ever lived in America. As a female guitarist, Mary Kaye was unique and so was the guitar she played, a blonde Stratocaster with gold hardware. "In the early '50s, Fender put out a Stratocaster, which was white ash wood with gold fittings. It didn't have a name on it -- just Fender," said Mary Kaye. "We did some movies for Howard Koch at Paramount. I told Fender that we were doing the movies, they sent over the Stratocaster and I played it in the movie Cha Cha Cha Boom. There was a lot of publicity around the world. Instead of customers asking for a white guitar with gold fittings, they said -- 'I want the guitar that Mary Kaye was playing.' All of a sudden the guitar became known as the Mary Kaye Stratocaster." The Fender Stratocaster has become the most popular solidbody electric guitar ever made, thanks to such greats as Mary Kaye, Bill Haley, Hank Marvin, Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn just to mention a few.
